Specialist Doctor Hematology 80-100% (m,f,d)

Introduction

For our client, a modern medical competence center in the Northwest Switzerland region, we are looking for a committed specialist doctor for hematology FMH as well as FAMH specialist in laboratory medicine. In this versatile position, you will combine clinical questions with state-of-the-art laboratory diagnostics and make a decisive contribution to well-founded therapy decisions.

Tasks

• Conducting written and oral consultations as well as competent advice to customers and medical professionals in all areas of hematology
• Technical co-responsibility for the entire hematological diagnostics
• Assessment and reporting of hematograms and blood smears
• Participation in integrative bone marrow diagnostics as well as molecular hematology
• Interpretation and reporting of immunophenotypic investigations using flow cytometry (10-color flow cytometry) from blood, bone marrow, lymph nodes and other tissue samples
• Introduction of new diagnostic methods and further development of existing processes
• Opportunity to take on scientific activities as well as conducting internal and external specialist presentations
• Optional assumption of leadership responsibility within the specialist department

Profile

• Specialist title Hematology FMH and FAMH specialist in laboratory medicine or equivalent, recognized training in Switzerland
• Clinical experience in hematology and/or laboratory medicine is an advantage
• Very good German skills
• French and English skills are a plus
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation as well as advisory activities
• Interest in scientific questions and innovations
• Openness towards new methods, technologies and diagnostic procedures
