CRS healthcare assistant / Care assistant

Do you wish to carry out an activity in contact with people, useful and close to patients?
As part of the strengthening of our staff, we are looking for several CRS healthcare assistants and healthcare assistants for assignments at home care facilities in the Canton of Vaud.
Selected candidates may be presented to the various partner associations and foundations of the canton active in the home care sector.
Mission

• Support clients in activities of daily living.
• Provide basic care and assistance services according to current directives.
• Contribute to maintaining the autonomy and well-being of clients at their home.
• Observe the general state of the assisted persons and transmit useful information to the health teams.
• Provide relational support and contribute to the physical and psychological well-being of clients.
• Collaborate with nurses, healthcare assistants, and other professionals operating at home.
• Guarantee the traceability of interventions in the IT tools made available.

Profile

• CRS healthcare assistant certificate or care assistant diploma recognized in Switzerland.
• For candidates in possession of a foreign diploma, recognition by the Swiss Red Cross (CRS) is mandatory or that recognition is in the process of being obtained.
• Experience in home care, nursing homes, institutes, or hospital settings is appreciated.
• Sense of service, benevolence, and respect for the person.
• Excellent relational and human skills.
• Ability to work independently and to manage daily travel.
• Good command of spoken and written French.
• Familiarity with IT tools for monitoring care.

Essential requirements

• Valid category B driving license
• Personal vehicle mandatory
• Clean ordinary criminal record and special extract (documents required at the time of hiring)
