For a retirement and nursing home in the Bern region, we are looking for a motivated specialist as a Dipl. Pflegefachfrau/mann Demenzexpertin/e

In your area of responsibility, you are responsible for the comprehensive care and support of the residents of a protected residential group for people with dementia. You respond to the individual wishes of the people in need of care and place great importance on their well-being.

Your tasks:

• Professional advice and support for nursing and care teams in dealing with people with dementia
• Development, implementation and evaluation of nursing concepts and standards in the field of dementia
• Accompanying complex nursing situations as well as participating in case management
• Training, coaching and sensitizing employees (e.g. internal further training)
• Advice and support for relatives
• Promotion of person-centered and resource-oriented care
• Participation in quality assurance and further development of nursing care
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with doctors, therapists and other specialist agencies
• Documentation and professional statements according to internal guidelines

What you bring with you:

• Completed training in the nursing field (e.g. Pflegefachfrau / mann HF, DN I and II)
• Further training in the field of dementia (e.g. Demenzexpertin, CAS Demenz, comparable)
• Several years of professional experience in the care of people with dementia
• Ideally, you bring knowledge in RAI/RUG and careCoach
• High professional, social and self-competence
• Strong communication and advisory competence
• Empathy, patience and resilience
• Independent, structured and responsible way of working
