The University Clinic for Dermatology of the Inselspital Bern covers the entire spectrum of dermatology, combining university excellence in medicine with research and teaching. As part of the largest university hospital in Switzerland, we treat patients from all over Switzerland - from everyday skin diseases to complex special cases. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Assistant to the Clinical Director immediately or by arrangement.

What awaits you ##

• You are the hub for the Clinical Director and the senior physicians of the department - in clinic, research, and teaching
• You plan and coordinate appointments and maintain an overview even in hectic moments
• You conduct correspondence in German and English (French is a plus)
• You provide administrative support to the senior physicians and take on tasks in the medical secretariat as required
• You participate in personnel and financial tasks (Insel Gruppe and Universität Bern) and grow into exciting processes in the process
• You contribute to internal clinic projects - with plenty of creative freedom to simplify and digitalize processes
• You take on general secretarial tasks such as minute-taking and ordering

What you bring with you ##

• Completed training as Kauffrau/Kaufmann EFZ, Medical Secretary, or Medical Practice Assistant (MPA) with several years of professional experience
• A dynamic, independent, and flexible personality with joy in tackling things
• Organizational and communication talent as well as confident handling of digital tools and Office programs (especially Word and Excel)
• Very good German and good English skills (written and oral), French skills are a plus
• Knowledge of medical terminology or the systems of the Universität Bern is a plus - you will learn everything else with us
