At the Berner Spitalzentrum für Altersmedizin Siloah (BESAS), elderly people are comprehensively cared for – both inpatient and outpatient. With its acute medical and rehabilitative offerings, BESAS is one of the leading geriatric medicine institutions in Switzerland and places great importance on education and further training, integrated care, and modern treatment methods. The geriatric emergency practice in Gümligen is the first point of contact for general practitioners as well as for patients with acute complaints. The own nursing home physician practice ensures home physician care for residents in nursing homes in the greater Bern area. ### Your area of responsibility

• You take over the care, support, treatment, and early rehabilitation of geriatric patients
• You accompany trainees and students in their education
• You take over daily responsibility
• You participate in the interdisciplinary treatment team, consisting of doctors, nursing, therapists, and social counseling
• You support the nursing home physician practice and emergency practice during and outside of opening hours and take over the nursing emergency service

Your profile

• You have a completed degree as Dipl. Pflegefachperson HF/ FH
• You have experience in acute care
• You bring interest and joy to nursing and in dealing with geriatric patients
• You are an open, structured, and communicative personality
• You have team spirit and enjoy working interdisciplinary
