*The Department of Clinical Research (DCR) is a joint facility of the Inselspital Bern and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Bern at sitem-insel. It supports patient-oriented clinical research, particularly within the framework of academic study projects.
The Study Nurse team of the Clinical Investigation Unit (CIU) is a central organizational unit of the DCR. The CIU provides comprehensive services for the planning, preparation, and execution of clinical studies and contributes significantly to the high-quality implementation of patient-oriented research.

What to expect ##

• Independent management of clinical studies of phases I-IV according to protocol and regulatory requirements
• You are the contact point for study participants, Principal Investigators, sponsors, monitors, and other persons involved in the study
• Planning, coordination, execution, and documentation of study visits (incl. sample collection and processing, administration of study medication p.os, s.c., and i.v., and other examinations)
• Close cooperation with other groups of the Department of Clinical Research, study teams of the Inselspital and the UniBe

What you bring ##

• Completed training as a dipl. Pflegefachperson HF/FH or MPA EFZ
• Experience in the management of clinical studies is an advantage, as well as sound knowledge of GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements in Switzerland is desired
• Scientific interest combined with high independence, flexibility, and resilience
• Structured, committed, and conscientious way of working with enjoyment of administrative activities and direct patient contact within the framework of study visits
• Confident handling of medical devices and IT systems as well as very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
