Adapted Physical Activity (APA) Therapist

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical capacities of patients and develop adapted physical activity programs according to their needs.
• Ensure the supervision and facilitation of individual or group sessions.
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team (physiotherapists, doctors, occupational therapists, etc.) to optimize patient care.
• Monitor the progress of patients and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Participate in the promotion of physical activity as a therapeutic tool.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Adapted Physical Activity (APA).
• Experience in a medical or rehabilitation environment desired.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, listening ability, and pedagogical sense.
• Ability to adapt interventions according to the needs and pathologies of patients.
• Dynamism, autonomy, and sense of initiative.
