For an established Swiss health insurance company, we are looking for a committed and experienced personality as a Care Manager 80–100%.

In this versatile role, you combine your nursing experience with medical, insurance-related, and coordinative issues. Do you want to apply your clinical expertise outside of the classic hospital daily routine and actively contribute to well-founded decisions as well as optimal treatment coordination? Then this task could suit you perfectly.

Your tasks
-> You assess requests for cost coverage for rehabilitations and psychiatry based on medical criteria as well as the applicable guidelines of health insurance.
-> You contribute your nursing expertise to complex medical issues and support well-founded and demand-oriented decisions.
-> You advise acute care hospitals, primary care providers, and the insured in the choice of suitable rehabilitation institutions.
-> You are an important contact person for service providers regarding questions about treatment coordination and integration.
-> You actively participate in projects and working groups and contribute your practical experience to the further development of processes and solutions.

Your profile
-> Training as a dipl. Pflegefachperson HF/FH or an equivalent qualification
-> Several years of professional experience, ideally in an acute care hospital, rehabilitation, psychiatry, or in care/case management
-> Interest in applying clinical expertise in a new environment within a Swiss health insurance company
-> Ability to assess medical facts holistically and make comprehensible decisions
-> Knowledge and experience in the field of health insurance are an advantage
-> Professional communication, negotiation skills, and a confident appearance
-> Very good German skills
-> French at least level B2
-> Italian skills are an advantage
