Technical Sterilization Assistant

Spital Zofingen has a versatile OR operation with four operating rooms and around 3,500 procedures per year. Close, constructive, and professional cooperation across the various specialist departments and professional groups is an essential part of our daily work.

To strengthen our committed team, we are looking for a reliable and responsible Technical Sterilization Assistant per 1 November 2026 or by arrangement. You will take on a responsible function within the central processing unit and, with your careful and quality-oriented way of working, make an important contribution to the safety of our patients.

Technical Sterilization Assistant

Your tasks

• Professional processing and sterilization of instruments and medical products according to Swissmedic specifications
• Sterile goods and storage controls
• Operation and monitoring of RDGs and autoclaves
• Documentation of the processing processes and seamless traceability
• Ensuring compliance with hygiene, quality, and safety standards
• Partnership-based, interdisciplinary cooperation in a team-oriented and sometimes hectic environment
• Readiness for weekend and on-call duty

Your profile

• Completed Sterilization Course Fachkunde 1 mandatory
• Professional experience in medical device processing is an advantage
• Enjoyment of the profession and readiness for professional further training
• Sociable, communicative, flexible, and resilient personality
• Careful, structured, and independent way of working
• High awareness of quality, hygiene, and service
