Your missions
Organize and provide personalized care and support: Plan and perform basic and medico-technical care within your scope of competence, promoting the autonomy and well-being of the resident.
Organize and coordinate care activities: Participate in the daily organization of work and team coordination, in collaboration with the nurse.
Assess needs and ensure continuity of care: Identify the physical, psychological, and social needs of the resident, adapt the support, and guarantee the transmission of information as well as the proper maintenance of the resident's file.
Perform medico-delegated acts: Perform medico-technical acts within your field of competence and your job description.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team: Work in close collaboration with different professionals to guarantee coherent and coordinated care.
Required profile
Interest in the elderly: Marked interest in geriatrics and psychogeriatrics; a first experience in an EMS is an asset.
Professional posture: Calm, listening, benevolence, sense of responsibility, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Organization and autonomy: Ability to organize and prioritize work, show initiative, and contribute to the daily coordination of care.
Adaptability and team spirit: Analytical, adaptation, and collaboration skills within an interdisciplinary team, including in the face of complex care situations.
Digital skills: Mastery of institutional IT tools and ease in maintaining the computerized resident file (DIR/Carefolio).
Level of education
CFC as Assistant in community nursing and care (ASSC) required or recognition of an equivalent foreign diploma issued by the Croix-Rouge suisse (CRS). FEE training: a major asset.
