Medical Technician 80 - 100% Zürich

As a Medical Technician HF, you ensure the reliable operation of medical technology devices and systems in Zürich. In this permanent position with a workload of 80 to 100 %, you undertake maintenance, repair, safety inspections, and technical support, and accompany medical technology from procurement to commissioning. The start of employment is immediate or by arrangement. The activity takes place without shift work.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• Ensuring the operational readiness and operational safety of medical technology devices and systems
• Analysis and rectification of technical malfunctions as well as first-level support for clinical users
• Carrying out maintenance, inspections, functional and safety checks, as well as repairs
• Maintenance of the medical technology inventory and complete technical documentation
• Technical accompaniment during evaluation, procurement, installation, commissioning, and replacement of medical technology devices
• Collaboration with clinical departments, IT, technology, as well as external manufacturers and suppliers

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a dipl. Medizintechnikerin HF or dipl. Medizintechniker HF or an equivalent recognized qualification
• Several years of professional experience in medical technology, ideally in a clinical environment
• Profound knowledge in maintenance, servicing, repair, and testing of medical technology devices
• Good IT user knowledge and understanding of networked medical technology systems
• Good German and English skills
• Confident handling of technical documentation and manufacturer specifications
