Study Nurse

The University Clinic for Vascular Surgery and Angiology is dedicated to both basic research and clinical studies with a special focus on aortic diseases (aneurysms), atherosclerosis (pAVK), and angiodysplasias. The research team is jointly responsible for conducting national and international clinical studies.

What to expect

• Collection, gathering, and documentation of study-specific data from company studies or Investigator-Initiated projects (incl. organization, preparation, and follow-up of study-specific meetings)
• Collaboration in the creation of study-specific documentation for the ethics committee as well as project submission and correspondence with the ethics committee and the authorities
• Organization and coordination of study processes incl. supervision of subjects and accounting support incl. service billing/invoicing
• Support of quality management (writing Standard Operating Procedure, Work Instruction)
• Providing support in contract and budget negotiations with sponsors

What you bring with you

• You have completed nursing training and bring knowledge in the field of clinical studies
• You are scientifically interested and have a high degree of independence, flexibility, and resilience
• You are a committed, conscientious person, enjoy performing administrative work and at the same time appreciate direct patient contact within the framework of study visits
• You are accustomed to regular work on a PC
• You have good English skills, basic knowledge of French, and ideally a passed GCP certificate
