For our outpatient clinic for victims of torture and war, we are looking for a committed female or male specialist physician for psychiatry and psychotherapy, starting immediately or by arrangement. The workload is flexible (20–80%).
What you can achieve
Conducting trauma-focused assessments and psychotherapeutic treatments of refugee adults and/or refugee children and adolescents, involving intercultural interpreters
Responsibility for the psychopharmacological treatment of our patients
Taking over administrative tasks in connection with the treatment processes
Regular participation in case discussions, supervisions, and internal continuing education
If required, specialist psychiatric case assessment within the framework of the ordering model
Co-shaping the therapeutic offers
If interested, collaboration in the area of public relations (project work, planning and implementation of internal and external continuing education events)
What you bring with you
Completed and recognized in Switzerland training as a specialist physician for psychiatry and psychotherapy
Interest in working with traumatized refugees; ideally, you bring experience in the field of migration and trauma
Enjoyment of role-based work in an interdisciplinary team to jointly achieve the best possible therapeutic results
An open, flexible personality with strong social skills
Very good German skills in speaking and writing (C2), good French and English skills and/or knowledge of another language is an advantage
