Mission

Accompany and care for residents on a daily basis and ensure their physical, social, and psychological well-being in order to guarantee them the best possible care.

Your responsibilities

Perform basic care and hygiene and comfort care,
Carry out medico-technical acts delegated by nurses,
Ensure the comfort, safety, and quality of life of residents, by promoting their autonomy,
Observe, transmit, and report relevant information to the team,
Establish and maintain a professional relationship of trust with residents and their entourage,
Be a reference person for certain residents in collaboration with the nursing team,
Participate in the global care in multidisciplinary collaboration, notably in the implementation of the resident's life project,
Contribute to the development and monitoring of care projects,
Apply quality processes in care and ensure their compliance,
Guarantee the proper use and maintenance of care equipment,
Intervene in an adapted manner in emergency situations according to the procedures in force,
Provide assistance with feeding and monitoring during meals if necessary,
Actively participate in a positive and constructive working climate,
Supervise apprentices according to needs and skills.

Your profile

CFC of Assistant in Nursing and Community Health (ASSC) or a title deemed equivalent,
Experience in a similar position, an asset,
Interest in accompanying people living with a disability,
Ability to react quickly and appropriately in crisis situations,
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team,
Sense of responsibility, autonomy, and initiative,
Excellent interpersonal skills and listening skills,
Discretion, punctuality, and professionalism,
Mastery of French (oral and written),
Good mastery of usual IT tools and professional software (Carefolio and LongTerm: an asset).
