Medical Student Assistant Anesthesia

The Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care carries out approx. 6'000 anesthesias annually in a modern environment across a wide range of specialties. The interdisciplinary intensive care unit with 8 beds as well as the emergency services are also part of our area of responsibility. ###

With over 1'700 employees, we secure the extended basic medical and nursing care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually we care for approximately 11'000 inpatient and 90'000 outpatient patients. Additionally, we are an important training site in the canton.
