Specialized Clinical Dietitian / Centre des Pratiques Interprofessionnelles – Operations Management / at 100% / in CDI

Within the Centre des Pratiques Interprofessionnelles (CPI), the specialized clinical dietitian provides expertise in complex nutritional situations. They advise and support IMAD professionals and contribute to the improvement of nutrition and dietetics practices, in the context of home and community care.

The specialized clinical dietitian constitutes a resource for teams in complex situations and contributes to the development of nutrition and dietetics practices through clinical expertise, leadership, implementation, and continuous improvement.

Your missions and responsibilities

Expertise in human nutrition and metabolism:

• Provide specialized clinical expertise in nutrition and dietetics in the analysis and management of complex nutritional situations at home.
• Support dietitians in nutritional assessment, the development of nutritional diagnosis, and the definition of intervention plans adapted to patient needs (PSN).
• Contribute to the identification of nutritional risk factors and the definition of responses adapted to the home and community context.
• Develop, update, and promote recommendations, tools, and clinical resources based on evidence.

Advanced practices and leadership in nutrition and dietetics

• Assume a second-line reference role for clinical situations requiring advanced clinical expertise in nutrition and dietetics.
• Accompany professionals in the analysis of complex situations and support clinical decision-making.
• Foster the development of dietitians' skills through practice analysis, advice, and training.
• Contribute to the development of clinical leadership and the recognition of expertise in nutrition and dietetics within IMAD.
• Contribute to the evolution of professional practices and the development of innovative responses adapted to the challenges of home care.
• Participate in the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical projects aimed at improving the quality and safety of nutrition and dietetics services.
• Develop and update recommendations, clinical processes, etc., based on evidence.
• Contribute to training and the integration of scientific knowledge into professional practices.

Nutritional epidemiology and implementation in clinical nutrition

• Ensure scientific and professional monitoring in nutrition and dietetics to guarantee the updating of practices in accordance with the most recent knowledge.
• Mobilize scientific and nutritional epidemiology data to support clinical decision-making.
• Identify emerging issues likely to be the subject of evaluations, implementation projects, or applied research.
• Participate in institutional, evaluation, or innovation projects related to client needs and the challenges of home care.
• Contribute to the analysis, enhancement, and dissemination of results from projects and work carried out to support the development of services.

Interprofessional collaboration

• Collaborate with all IMAD professionals,
• Promote interprofessional collaborative practices in the management of complex situations.
• Maintain collaborations with the health-social network and relevant partners.
• Bachelor HES-SO in Nutrition and dietetics, completed by a Master of Science in Health Sciences (MScSa), obtained or in progress.
• Significant clinical experience in nutrition and dietetics,
• Experience in supporting complex situations, training, or practice development.
• Experience in project management and/or quality improvement.
• Excellent analysis, synthesis, writing, and scientific popularization skills.
• Clinical leadership, autonomy, proactivity, and excellent interpersonal and pedagogical skills.
• Ability to work interprofessionally and to align with institutional orientations.
• Good knowledge of the home care context and the Geneva health-social network: an asset.
• Knowledge of English (reading and speaking): desired.
