Senior Physician / Lead Physician General Practice Reichenburg

As a Senior Physician or Lead Physician for General Internal Medicine, you will combine primary care patient care with medical and personnel leadership responsibility in Reichenburg in the Canton of Schwyz. You will lead the practice team consisting of physicians and Medical Practice Assistants, be responsible for medical processes, and serve as the interface to the commercial management. For diagnostics and treatment, your own laboratory, X-ray, ultrasound, ECG, spirometry, and a practice pharmacy are available to you. The position is to be filled by agreement at a workload of 70 to 100 %.

What awaits you in this role

• General practice activities including anamnesis, diagnostics, therapy, and prevention
• Professional and personnel leadership of the practice team, including recruitment and employee performance reviews
• Responsibility for medical practice processes as well as for the pharmacy, laboratory, X-ray, and other infrastructure
• Interface function between the group practice and the commercial management
• Performance of minor surgical procedures and treatment of chronic wounds
• Participation in internal and external quality circles as well as in the regional medical emergency service

What you bring with you

• Specialist in General Internal Medicine / Specialist in General Internal Medicine or an equivalent specialist title recognized by MEBEKO
• Several years of professional experience in General Internal Medicine or general practice medicine
• Leadership experience or a clear willingness to take responsibility for a practice team
• Experience in independent medical work and in long-term patient care
• Very good German language skills at least at level C1
