The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrischen Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the extended basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population of the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the canton and beyond.

In the nursing department under the nursing management of Frau Dragica Novakovic, we are looking for a Dipl. Pflegefachperson for our modern emergency station with a workload of 40-100%, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Care and nursing of acute patients in unstable, complex, and unpredictable situations
• Close intra- and interdisciplinary cooperation with all persons involved in the treatment
• Participation and implementation of preventive, therapeutic, and diagnostic measures
• Electronic nursing documentation

Your profile

• You have a successful degree as Dipl. Pflegefachfrau, as Dipl. Pflegefachmann at HF or FH level or are Gesundheits- und Krankenpflegerin, Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger
• Ideally, you have knowledge in an emergency department, but this is not mandatory
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing
• Joy in developing further in a company that promotes learning and where good cooperation is a central aspect for the treatment of the patients
• A high degree of professional, social, self-, and methodological competence characterizes you
• You act confidently and constructively in an interdisciplinary context
