As an internal medicine resident, you have begun your training pathway in internal medicine and now wish to move towards obtaining the specialist title in infectious diseases.

In this context, you will join the Service des maladies infectieuses and participate in the activities of various specialized consultations, notably in general infectious diseases, with immunocompromised persons, with the elderly, in the field of septic orthopedics, and HIV/AIDS, through rotations.

Under the supervision of senior physicians, you will ensure the management of the patients entrusted to you, both in outpatient and inpatient settings, within the entire institution. Thanks to your sense of organization and rigor, you will ensure the clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic activities necessary for patient care. You will ensure compliance with internal rules and procedures, with a constant concern for the quality of the medical services provided.

You will collaborate closely with all the medico-nursing teams of the institution, in a proactive approach centered on the needs of patients. You will ensure clear, respectful, and adapted communication, both with your colleagues and with the people receiving care and their relatives.

Furthermore, you have the possibility to participate in ongoing research projects within the service.

As part of your training pathway, you will develop your skills in accordance with the training plan and FMH requirements for three years within the service. This service offers an environment recognized for the quality of its teaching, a wide range of activities in infectious diseases, as well as development opportunities promoting the attainment of the FMH title.
