The Stiftung Theresiahaus accompanies young women and men with learning difficulties, cognitive or multiple impairments on their way into professional life. We offer recognized training in housekeeping, hotel management, gastronomy, laundry, office, facility management and horticulture. In addition, school leavers can complete a vocational preparation year.

As an educational institution recognized by the Federal Social Insurance Office (BSV) and the Canton of Solothurn with a weekly boarding school, we are specifically committed to the professional and social integration of young people with special support needs. For adults with disabilities, Theresiahaus offers semi-residential residential support at various locations in Solothurn.

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Accompaniment, promotion and support of the residents in practical life and social areas
• Reference person work as well as interdisciplinary cooperation with parents, legal representatives and specialists
• Individual promotion of the residents according to their needs
• Maintaining resident files and careful documentation
• Crisis intervention for residents in challenging situations
• Execution of organizational, practical and administrative tasks

YOUR COMPETENCIES

• You have completed training as a nursing specialist HF/FH or as a social pedagogue HF/FH
• You have emotional stability and a professional handling of closeness and distance
• You work activity-related and with mental flexibility
• You possess a driving license Cat. B
• Initiative and independence, high commitment and flexibility are among your strengths
• You are a team-oriented personality
