Apprenticeship as Specialist in Healthcare EFZ

What you will learn with us

• Care, support and accompaniment of guests in everyday and demanding situations
• Support with personal hygiene, getting up, dressing and undressing, eating and drinking
• Medical-technical tasks such as measuring blood pressure, pulse and temperature, blood collection, dressing changes and much more
• Everyday accompaniment of guests with games, crafts, singing, etc.
• Housekeeping, administrative and logistical tasks
• Compliance with and implementation of hygiene and safety regulations
• Electronic nursing documentation

What you bring with you

• Completed school education (Sekundarschule A or B) with good academic performance
• High willingness to learn and sense of responsibility
• Empathy and patience as well as interest in interacting with our guests
• Helpful, sociable and team-oriented, with a strong sense of care and conscientiousness
• Readiness for irregular working hours
• A warm and humorous basic attitude
• Enjoyment of diverse challenges and practical work
• Good German skills in speaking and writing

Your apprenticeship starts with an exciting introductory day. In the second year of training, our apprentices participate in the Tertianum Summer Camp. We celebrate the completion of the apprenticeship with a proper graduation ceremony.
