Occupational Therapist

We are a modern, bright occupational therapy practice in the center of Schwyz with a clear focus on hand therapy.
At the same time, we are continuously developing our areas of neurology, geriatrics, and outpatient psychiatry.

Our goal is to support people in their everyday lives and, together with them, achieve the best for their functional ability and quality of life. To do this, we work with commitment, professional expertise, and a lot of heart. At the same time, we ensure that we as a team also preserve our resources.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for, as soon as possible or by arrangement, an
Occupational Therapist FH/HF or with SRK recognition (40–100 %)
Applicants in the recognition process are also very welcome.

Currently, six occupational therapists with different levels of experience work with us – from career beginners to over 20 years of professional experience. Additionally, we regularly supervise students and work together with other specialists.
We support each other, learn from one another, and help people move forward again in everyday life.

WHAT AWAITS YOU WITH US

• Focus on hand therapy with a wide spectrum of conservative and postoperative diagnoses
• Fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, scar treatments, arthrosis, rheumatology, carpal tunnel syndromes, splinting, and touch prostheses
• Complementary neurology, geriatrics, home visits, as well as outpatient psychiatry – depending on interest and experience
• A large, bright, and modernly furnished practice with seven therapy rooms, different therapy stations, as well as an area for small groups
• Well-structured work and material areas as well as relief through our practice administration
• A team of experienced and younger therapists with regular professional exchange

LEARN HAND THERAPY - STEP BY STEP
You do not need to be an experienced hand therapist yet. More important to us than prior experience are interest, willingness to learn, and the joy of discovering new things.
You work independently – but are never alone with professional questions.

The induction is structured and individual:

• Shadowing experienced colleagues
• Joint selection of first diagnoses and step-by-step buildup
• Starting with simple and safe cases
• Regular patient discussions and reflection talks
• Support in everyday life through the four-eyes principle

Grow professionally - We consciously invest in the development of our employees:

• Weekly patient and case discussions
• Internal continuing education every two weeks
• Self-study time 1h (at 100 % workload)
• External continuing education with financial support
• Possibility for professional specialization
• Participation in internship supervision and practice development

We are happy if employees contribute their own ideas and actively help shape their professional path.

HOW WE WORK
With a 100 % workload, a regular workday usually comprises about eight one-hour therapy units.
Our main working hours are between 08.00 and 17.00. Early appointments from 07.00 as well as individual later appointments until a maximum of 19.00 are also part of our offering. Late shifts are distributed within the team.
Flexible workloads between 40 and 100 % are possible. The scheduling of workdays is done by mutual agreement.

We understand practice work as a team task. In addition to therapy, preparation, documentation, professional development, and the joint shaping of our practice are therefore part of the daily work routine.
