MSAT Scientist

Mandatory criteria:
Higher technical or scientific education (ES, Bachelor, Master) in pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology, process engineering or a related field
Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with exposure to manufacturing, investigation and continuous improvement activities
First experience within cross-functional project teams or a good understanding of collaboration dynamics in a matrix environment
Good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP);

Mission:
As part of an internal mobility, we are recruiting a Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) Scientist (m/f) for our headquarters and biotech production site in Geneva. Reporting to the Head of MSAT and as part of a team of five people, your mission consists of supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing activities through your scientific and technical expertise, contributing to process robustness, compliance and continuous improvement of lyophilization, mixing, granulation, encapsulation and packaging operations, with a strong presence on the ground in the production area.

Your main responsibilities are as follows:
Lead manufacturing-related investigations and improvement projects, including deviations, root cause analyses (RCA), CAPA implementation and problem-solving activities
Support manufacturing performance through process monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to the industrial implementation of manufacturing changes, new suppliers and new raw materials as part of change control activities
Review, create and maintain manufacturing procedures, technical documentation and processes in compliance with GMP requirements
Participate in data trend reviews and Operational Excellence initiatives in order to identify and implement process improvements
Conduct laboratory, pilot scale and scale-down studies to support investigations, process optimization and manufacturing projects
Contribute to the preparation and review of protocols, reports and technical documents to support validation activities
Guarantee the integrity, traceability and compliance of data and activities, manage MSAT documentation and support training activities within the Manufacturing Pharma team

Profile:
Knowledge of galenics is an asset
Mastery of Sage X3 is ideally an advantage
Pragmatic and results-oriented person, capable of combining technical expertise with a good understanding of business and production stakes.
You demonstrate excellent communication skills and know how to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Finally, you adopt an entrepreneurial approach and constantly seek improvement opportunities, while actively contributing to the implementation of more high-performing and efficient processes.
