MedPlace is a physiotherapy studio located within the Virgin Active club in Lugano, with access to a swimming pool and gym. Each session combines manual treatment and active work, carried out in teams, to accompany the patient towards the maximum possible recovery.

A growing project ##

The studio is entering a new development phase, with the renovation of spaces according to the new brand identity and new projects in preparation. We are looking for a person who wants to take part in this journey and contribute with ideas and skills.

The role ##

You will be mainly responsible for the evaluation and treatment on the table part, in close collaboration with the colleague who follows the active exercise in the gym.

Requirements ##

• Swiss diploma in physiotherapy or CRS recognition
• At least 5 years of experience as a physiotherapist, particularly in the orthopedic, post-operative, and sports fields
• Training in manual lymphatic drainage, or availability to obtain it
• Solid skills in manual and myofascial therapy
• Ability to evaluate the patient and set up the treatment independently
• Excellent knowledge of Italian and good knowledge of English; other languages are a plus

The studio offers orthopedic, post-operative, sports, and neurological rehabilitation, manual and myofascial therapy, hydrokinesitherapy, and re-athleticization paths in the Performance Lab. Our approach combines manual treatment and active exercise, carried out in teams, because for us the person always comes before the pathology.
