MPA Emergency Practice 50%

The emergency practice is part of the interdisciplinary emergency center of the Kantonsspital Baden. Every year, over 25'000 patients with minor illnesses and injuries visit the emergency practice. As an MPA, you support our doctors of the emergency team as well as general practitioners of the districts of Baden and Brugg in the care of these patients. Are you an empathetic, team-oriented personality who enjoys your profession and have completed training as an MPA? Then you fit perfectly with us! Ideally, you have already completed the training as a vocational trainer or plan to complete it - this is a big plus for us. Tasks ##

• You receive the patients and coordinate appointments for follow-up examinations and referrals.
• You perform blood sampling and ECG, complete laboratory work in the practice's own laboratory and administer medications, infusions and vaccinations.
• You apply plaster casts and splints as well as wound dressings professionally.
• You prepare patients for treatments and support the doctors during small surgical procedures.
• You supervise trainees and actively help shape the work processes.
• You also take on various administrative tasks.

Profile ##

• You have completed training as a medical practice assistant and bring several years of professional experience.
• You have already completed the vocational trainer training or plan to complete it.
• It is an advantage if you bring experience in hematological laboratory work.
• You are an empathetic, team-oriented and flexible personality.
• You are willing to take on early, late and weekend shifts.
• You have very good German language skills.
• You are proficient in using MS-Office.
