Registered Nurse Psychiatry Young Adults Zug

As a Dipl. Pflegefachfrau or Dipl. Pflegefachmann HF/FH, you will work in a specialized psychiatric clinic in the Zug area at a workload of 60 to 100 % on a ward for young adults. You will accompany patients in challenging life situations and make a central contribution to stabilization, development, and long-term perspective. This position is available immediately or by arrangement and offers you a meaningful working environment with a high degree of personal responsibility.

What to expect in this challenging task

• Responsibility for the entire nursing process within the framework of primary nursing work for young adults with mental illnesses
• Accompanying patients in crisis situations as well as support in demanding life phases
• Participation in diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive measures in an interprofessional setting
• Conducting conversations with relatives and caregivers in complex situations
• Active co-shaping of interdisciplinary cooperation within the team
• Instruction, guidance, and support of apprentices as well as students in everyday practice
• Implementation of group offerings in a therapeutic context

What you bring with you

• Completed training as Dipl. Pflegefachfrau or Dipl. Pflegefachmann HF/FH or equivalent training such as Bachelor of Science in Nursing, examinierte Pflegefachkraft, Gesundheits und Krankenpflegerin or Gesundheits und Krankenpfleger, DGKP
• Experience in the care of mentally ill patients
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing
• Interest in psychiatric nursing as well as in working with young adults
