Chemical Laboratory Technician - Quality Control (100%) (m/f/d)

In this role, you will perform chemical analyses of raw materials, active ingredients, and finished products, thereby making an important contribution to ensuring our high quality standards. Your focus will be on wet chemical testing and instrumental analysis. You will work in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment with modern analytical instruments and, together with your team, contribute significantly to the quality and safety of our products.

Competencies and Responsibilities

• Performance and evaluation of analyses on raw materials, active ingredients, and finished products within the framework of quality control.
• Performance of wet chemical analyses as well as simple instrumental analysis, including density measurement, thin-layer chromatography (TLC), NIR, and UV/Vis.
• GMP-compliant, complete, and traceable documentation of the analyses performed, as well as recording of data and results in the LIMS.
• Performance of raw data controls according to the training matrix and maintenance of the relevant logbooks.
• Calibration, functional testing, and verification of analytical instruments, as well as careful and safety-conscious handling of apparatus and installations.
• Monitoring and management of consumables and chemicals.
• Participation in the implementation of new analytical methods as well as in the creation and revision of testing procedures, work instructions, and forms.
• Ensuring compliance with GMP, quality, and safety requirements, as well as timely reporting of deviations and extraordinary events.
• Active collaboration within the laboratory team and support for reliable and timely laboratory operations.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

• Completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician EFZ or a comparable laboratory technical training.
• Practical knowledge in chemical analysis, especially in wet chemistry and/or instrumental analysis.
• Experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment and in handling quality management systems is an advantage.
• Confident handling of digital applications and common MS Office programs; experience with LIMS or comparable laboratory systems is an advantage.
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing as well as good English skills.
• Independent, precise, and reliable way of working with a strong sense of quality and responsibility.
• Team-oriented and communicative personality as well as flexibility and willingness to learn new methods, devices, and digital solutions.

About this position

• As part of our Quality Control Chemical Analysis team, you will work in a versatile analytical environment and take responsibility for the reliable and GMP-compliant testing of raw materials, active ingredients, and finished products.
• In addition to daily laboratory analysis, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with different methods and devices and to participate in the introduction of new analyses and the further development of our laboratory documentation.
• The position offers you a varied area of responsibility between practical laboratory work, instrument analysis, and GMP documentation, as well as the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and develop professionally within your area of duty.
