APN Nursing Expert

On our interdisciplinary surgical ward in the medical area of Head, Musculoskeletal System and Aging, we care for patients from the specialist fields of hand surgery and plastic surgery, otorhinolaryngology, oral, maxillofacial and facial surgery as well as orthopaedics and traumatology.

What awaits you

• You independently carry out nursing assessments and clinical examinations and derive evidence-based interventions
• You advise and train patients and relatives and promote self-management
• You help design complex treatment pathways and promote continuous care
• You coach nursing teams in demanding clinical situations and strengthen their professional competence
• You develop, implement and evaluate evidence-based nursing concepts and bring new findings into practice
• You are involved in the shared governance team for high nursing quality and sustainable improvements
• You work closely with the nursing experts in the medical area

What you bring with you

• Master of Science in Nursing (MScN) or in training for it
• Several years of professional experience in an acute care hospital is an advantage
• Enjoyment of complex clinical issues and interprofessional cooperation
• Initiative, sense of responsibility and joy in innovation
• Enthusiasm for evidence-based practice, quality development and research
