The psychiatry of Spital Emmental offers demanding jobs for doctors, psychologists, nursing specialists, social workers and administrative staff with the possibility for personal development and takes consideration of individual resources. In our day clinic in Burgdorf, we accompany people with mental illnesses in a semi-residential setting - committed, evidence-based and with an eye for what people really need.

40 to 100 % - you contribute, we find the right model together.

With a smaller workload, your focus will be in the day clinic. With a higher workload, you can additionally participate in the triage. Ambulatory psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatments are also possible. Do you already have your own practice? Even better: We are open to part-time models that can be meaningfully combined with your practice activity.

What you bring

• A specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy or you are close to completing it.
• Experience in psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment; experience in a semi-residential setting is welcome but not a must.
• Enjoyment of complex clinical questions and the courage to think in a differentiated way even in cases of uncertainty and to reflect on decisions together.
• An independent, structured way of working and a patient-oriented attitude.
• Team spirit, openness and desire for interprofessional cooperation at eye level.
• Curiosity, initiative and joy in not only using an offering but developing it further.
• And yes: Humor helps. Not every treatment goes by the book and not every day goes according to plan. All the more important is a team that sticks together and can laugh together even in demanding situations.
