What you can look forward to:

We are a training facility for Geriatrics (Category B) or there is the possibility to have 1 year of Geriatrics credited for the specialist in General Internal Medicine (advanced training).

• Compliance with VSAO guidelines regarding 42/4 h and relief from unnecessary administrative tasks
• Supervision of a geriatric rehabilitation ward under specialist medical supervision
• Ensuring high-quality and safe patient care in the inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Early detection of critical situations as well as initiation of adequate diagnostic and therapeutic measures
• Active participation in the optimization of rehabilitation success as well as the treatment of geriatric comorbidities and complications
• Interprofessional cooperation with nursing, therapies, and medical management in a committed and collegial team
• Participation in rounds, rehab team meetings, and other patient-related exchanges

What we look forward to:

• Successfully completed medical studies (Swiss medical diploma or a medical diploma recognized in Switzerland)
• Joy in caring for geriatric patients as well as interest in General Internal Medicine and rehabilitation
• Structured, responsible, and patient-oriented way of working
• Good organizational skills and communication strength
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing (at least level C1)
