Fondation Saphir, a multi-mission foundation (psychogeriatrics, geriatrics, adult psychiatry), is active in the medico-social field in the canton of Vaud and in the reception and support of people whose physical and mental integrity is fragile during their life process.

We are looking for our establishment, the EMS Contesse in Croy, which welcomes 36 People and is specialized in geriatrics:

Regardless of their function, the professionals of Fondation Saphir have a common will: to support People on a daily basis to allow them to concretely experience the institutional strategy of services "like at home". That is to say, to maintain their habits as much as possible, to offer a response adapted to their wishes and, through real interprofessional collaboration, to allow the well-being and happiness of the People.

As a nurse, you ensure preventive, therapeutic, rehabilitative and palliative nursing care under the supervision of the support manager. You maintain a continuous reflective practice that allows you to evaluate and analyze, among other things, the biopsychosocial and spiritual dimensions of the People. You manage all medical emergencies and will activate emergency procedures as needed. Furthermore, you participate in examinations and observations for the purpose of medical diagnosis. Due to your values centered on the Person, you establish a relationship of trust with the People and their entourage, by creating a safe environment adapted to their needs.

YOUR PATH - YOUR QUALITIES AND COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor in nursing or recognized equivalence
• CAS in clinical evaluation or a title deemed equivalent would be an asset
• Sense of observation allowing for the rapid evaluation of a complex situation and the orientation of interventions to avoid hospitalizations or falls
• Non-medicinal vision
• Proven high sense of responsibility and leadership
• Dynamic, listening, flexible, adaptable and organized
• Your attitude is centered on the well-being of the Person
• Mastery of spoken and written French as well as mastery of IT tools (Carefolio)
• Knowledge of the Swiss health system is an asset
