Veterinary Anesthesia Technician VAT 60 - 100 % Aarau

As a veterinary anesthesia technician, you will work in a veterinary clinic in the Aarau area with a workload of 60 - 100 % and take on responsibility in the field of medicine and endoscopy.

You monitor anesthesias during endoscopic procedures, work closely with veterinarians and the nursing team, and ensure a safe workflow in everyday clinical life. This position is available immediately or by arrangement.

• Carrying out and monitoring anesthesias during endoscopic examinations and procedures
• Responsibility for endoscopy technology including setup, maintenance, and cleaning
• Collaboration in the field of medicine as well as support in emergencies and with outpatient patients
• Close interdisciplinary cooperation with veterinarians and the nursing team
• Possibility to collaborate in other specialist areas of the veterinary clinic

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a Veterinary Assistant (Tiermedizinische Praxisassistentin or Tiermedizinischer Praxisassistent EFZ)
• Successfully completed further training as a Veterinary Anesthesia Technician VAT
• Technical understanding as well as a careful and structured way of working
