Dipl. Pflegefachperson FH/HF for the obstetric and gynecological interdisciplinary ward (m/f/d)

The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrisches Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the extended basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population of the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the canton and beyond.

In the nursing department under the nursing management of Ms. Dragica Novakovic, we are looking for a Dipl. Pflegefachperson HF/HF starting immediately or by arrangement at a work percentage of 70-100%.

Your tasks

• Professional and competent nursing and care of postpartum women, pregnant women and gynecological patients
• Promotion of family-centered care / holistic care of women and families and care of postpartum women and their newborns
• Care of women with gynecological diseases and after gynecological surgical interventions, as well as other surgical interventions
• Contribution to an appreciative, respectful, interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation
• Independent implementation of the nursing and treatment process in interdisciplinary cooperation
• Support and deputy assumption of activities of daily living
• Participation in and execution of preventive, therapeutic and diagnostic measures

Your profile

• Successful training as a Diplomierte Pflegefachfrau/-mann HF/KJFF/FH
• Ideally, you have already been able to gain experience in various disciplines in an acute hospital
• Interest in the care of postpartum women and infants
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing
• High social competence and flexible, team-oriented action
• Cheerful and team-oriented basic attitude
• You are a communicative and open personality who puts the patients at the center
