Psychologist

The employer is looking for a:

Therapeutic Manager and Psychotherapist Socio-Therapeutic Community (noted profession)

Tasks:

• has responsibility for the therapeutic intervention within the scope of the Individualized Therapeutic Project of each guest, as described in the project of the socio-therapeutic community Arco
• ensures individual psychotherapy interview moments with the guests, maintaining close collaboration with the other therapeutic figures of the community
• conducts group psychotherapy moments
• actively collaborates with the relevant health and social figures of the guests
• coordinates the work of the laboratory instructors
• ensures support interview moments for the personnel employed within the community
• is responsible for drafting the Individualized Therapeutic Project and writes discharge reports
• writes reports and written updates when requested
• takes part in the meetings of the community's management team of which they are a part
• participates in the weekly team meeting of the community workers
• coordinates the work of the Gruppo PH2020

Requirements:

• degree in psychology
• specialization title in psychotherapy (possession of a specialization in the field of adolescence will be considered an added value)
• excellent knowledge of the Swiss social and healthcare system, with particular regard to Canton Ticino
• excellent knowledge of the territory
• at least 5 years of work experience as a psychotherapist
• work experience as a psychotherapist in multidisciplinary teams and aptitude for group work

Preferential requirements:

• having gained experience in the field of community work
• having coordinated a work group or having held a responsibility role within a project
• knowledge of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques

Particular observations:

• part-time employment (90%) with possible availability for full time
• availability to use one's own means for any home visits if necessary
• start date to be defined during 2026, no later than January 2027
• in the case of candidates with titles obtained abroad, recognition of the title in Switzerland is required
• possession of the authorization for the free exercise of the profession of psychotherapist in Canton Ticino

Classification according to the provisions of the CCL for personnel employed in social institutions of Canton Ticino
Type of employment: 90% Indefinite term
