Mandated by one of our clients, we are looking for

Midwife M/F

• Hold a HES-SO Bachelor's degree in midwifery or an equivalent title recognized by the CRS.
• Demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in a hospital setting; experience in a university center is an asset.
• Possess solid technical expertise allowing for the autonomous care of parturients.
• Demonstrate rigor, versatility, and adaptability.
• Know how to manage stressful situations with calmness and efficiency.
• Possess a good team spirit and appreciate interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Ensure the support and management of births in the delivery room, in compliance with protocols and the needs of each patient.
• Intervene during cesarean sections in the operating room, participating actively in the care of the mother and the child.
• Perform the clinical evaluation of the newborn from birth and intervene in neonatal resuscitation when the situation requires it.
• Ensure the follow-up of the mother and the newborn during the postnatal period, ensuring their monitoring and responding to their needs.
• Coordinate the various stakeholders in the healthcare and medico-social network in order to best prepare for the return home and ensure the continuity of family support.
• Carry out prenatal consultations and ensure the follow-up of pregnancies reaching term, particularly from the 37th week.
• Actively participate in the promotion and support of breastfeeding, by informing, advising, and supporting young mothers.
