Job Description ##

For our general medicine practice in Bienne we are looking for

One or Two Medical Assistant(s) F/M

(1x100% or 2x50%-60%))

This position requires versatility as you will be active in our general medicine practice and our Walk-in-clinic, which is an emergency medical practice with consultations with and/or without appointments.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

• Ensure the reception, orientation, and accompaniment of patients with professionalism and kindness.
• Manage the telephone service, appointment scheduling, and message processing.
• Perform routine care such as blood tests, injections, infusions, and assist doctors during specific medical acts.
• Perform usual diagnostic examinations: laboratory, ECG, conventional radiology, 24h blood pressure measurement, sleep apnea screening, spirometry, etc.
• Ensure the administrative follow-up of patient files and various administrative tasks related to the smooth running of the practice.
• Actively participate in the quality of care and the smooth running of daily medical activities.

Qualifications ##

• Holder of a CFC in Medical Assisting.
• Experience in a medical practice, medical center, or outpatient emergency service is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a developed sense of reception.
• Dynamic, flexible, and versatile personality, capable of adapting to a constantly evolving environment.
• Ability to manage priorities, and to work in an autonomous and rigorous manner.
• Strong team spirit and willingness to contribute to a collaborative working atmosphere.
• Good command of French, with good knowledge of German. Any other language is an advantage.
