Nursing Specialist HF/FH Medic-Help Federal Asylum Centers (m/f/d) – Northwest Switzerland Region

Your tasks

• Conducting initial health assessments and triage
• Nursing specialist advice and care for applicants
• Recognizing acute and special health risks
• Organization and coordination of medical and other medical treatments
• Implementation of nursing measures within your own area of competence
• Participation in professional medication management
• Coordination with doctors, hospitals, pharmacies and other healthcare providers
• Health advice as well as participation in prevention, hygiene and infection protection
• Complete and careful maintenance of medical documentation
• Close cooperation with Medic-Help management, care and other specialist agencies

Your profile

• Degree as a certified nursing specialist HF/FH or equivalent recognized qualification
• Authorization to practice the activity in Switzerland or fulfillable recognition requirements
• Good skills in health assessment and triage
• Careful handling of medical documentation and confidential information
• Resilience and confident action in demanding situations
• Good communication skills and intercultural competence
• Experience in primary care, outpatient sector, emergency, public health or transcultural care is an advantage
• Experience in the asylum or migration sector is an advantage
