The orthopedic emergency department of Hirslanden Klinik Birshof is the central point of contact for the emergency care of patients with injuries or acute complaints of the musculoskeletal system. As part of the new department for Acute, Intermediate-Care and Perioperative Medicine (AIPM), the area is closely networked with the clinic's inpatient and perioperative treatment pathways and works interdisciplinary with attending physicians, anesthesia, general internal medicine, nursing, radiology, and other specialist departments.

YOUR TASKS ##

• You are responsible for the specialist medical care and treatment of patients in the orthopedic emergency department
• You perform investigations, assessments, initial treatments, and dispositions in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Close cooperation with attending physicians to ensure further treatment pathways
• Support for assistant physicians in daily clinical operations
• Participation in ensuring high-quality, efficient, and patient-oriented care
• Active participation in the regular service operations of the orthopedic emergency department

YOUR PROFILE ##

• You possess a specialist title in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology of the musculoskeletal system, Surgery, or General Internal Medicine, or are close to obtaining it
• Experience in emergency medicine, acute medicine, or traumatology is an advantage
• You work in a structured, independent, and team-oriented manner
• You bring a high degree of patient orientation and quality awareness
• You appreciate interdisciplinary cooperation in a dynamic clinical environment
• You have very good German language skills in speaking and writing
