We are looking for our client in the canton of Geneva for long-term temporary missions, a Social Worker.

Social Worker in Nursing Home

• ### Your mission :
• Individualized social support for residents and their relatives
• Evaluation of the social, administrative and financial situation of beneficiaries
• Management and monitoring of administrative procedures related to the entry, stay and exit of residents
• Information, advice and orientation towards appropriate social, legal and medico-social resources
• Coordination with the socio-sanitary network, families, insurance companies and partner institutions
• Support in procedures related to social insurance (AVS, AI, supplementary benefits, financial aid, etc.)
• Support during complex situations or social vulnerability
• Participation in the development and monitoring of individualized support projects
• Contribution to maintaining the autonomy, quality of life and social integration of residents
• Participation in interdisciplinary meetings and team reflections
• Collaboration in the continuous improvement of services and the smooth running of the establishment
• Maintenance and updating of administrative and social files

Required skills:

• HES Bachelor's in Social Work or an equivalent title
• Proven experience in a similar position, ideally with an elderly or vulnerable population
• Knowledge of the Swiss socio-sanitary network and social insurance
• Experience in supporting people in situations of fragility or dependency
• Mastery of administrative procedures and social assistance systems
• Desired experience in the administrative management of residents in a nursing home or administrative experience within a palliative care establishment or a similar medico-social structure
• Ability to manage complex situations with professionalism and discretion
• Excellent writing and administrative skills
• Sense of organization, autonomy and rigor
• Aptitude for interdisciplinary and network work
• Excellent mastery of French (oral and written)
• Good mastery of IT tools and the MS Office suite
