Le Réseau Santé de la Glâne is an association representing the 14 communes of the district of la Glâne. It consists of three medico-social establishments (235 beds including 24 beds in psychogeriatrics), a Day Care Center with 8 places, an Evaluation and Orientation Stay (SEO) unit of 12 beds, and the home help and care service (ASDG).

Head of Care Unit Nurse (ICUS) at 80%-100%

Mission

• Coordinate the care unit in accordance with the mission, guidelines, and the care and support concept.
• Provide care to residents in accordance with recent best practices and respecting safety, efficiency, comfort, and economy.
• Promote nursing expertise within a global support of the resident.
• Organize, plan, and manage the daily management of care and the team.
• Identify the needs of the team and respond to them.
• Respond to the needs and expectations of residents and their families.
• Collaborate with the IC for the coordination of the care sector.
• Coordinate internal activities within the unit to achieve annual objectives.
• Participate in institutional projects, the quality approach, and the continuous improvement of practices.
• Provide on-call services with availability to intervene in less than 30 minutes.

Profile

• Bachelor of Science HES-SO in nursing or a diploma recognized by the Swiss Red Cross.
• Holding a CAS in team management or a title deemed equivalent would be an asset.
• Confirmed clinical expertise and knowledge in geriatrics and/or psycho-geriatrics.
• Sense of responsibility, autonomy, dynamism, and flexibility.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of common IT tools (PEP, Carefolio, RAI, MS Office).
• Training as a RAI supervisor would be an asset.
• Very good oral and written knowledge of French.
