Med. Practice Assistant Pneumology (m/f/d)

The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrisches Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the expanded basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the canton and beyond.

In the MTTB department under the leadership of Frau Jana Schmid, we are looking for a Med. Practice Assistant at a workload of 40-60% in the field of pneumology, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Organization and coordination of the pneumological consultations
• Care of patients as well as appointment scheduling and patient management
• Performance of pneumological diagnostic examinations, especially lung function diagnostics such as spirometry and body plethysmography
• Support of the specialist doctors during consultations, examinations and procedures
• Performance of blood sampling as well as taking over administrative and organizational tasks

Your profile

• Completed training as Medizinische Praxisassistentin / Medizinischer Praxisassistent EFZ or Fachperson Gesundheit
• Ideally experience in an outpatient environment, preferably in pneumology
• Structured and reliable way of working as well as organizational skills
• High patient and service orientation
• Open and appreciative communication as well as enjoyment of interprofessional cooperation
