As part of temporary and/or permanent assignments within a renowned hospital establishment in the canton of Vaud, we are looking for a:

Nurse in recovery room (SSPI) M/F

Your mission

• Ensure the monitoring and care of patients in the immediate post-operative period.
• Evaluate the clinical state of patients upon their arrival in the recovery room.
• Guarantee patient safety and ensure continuous monitoring of vital parameters.
• Early detection of any post-anesthetic or surgical complication and implementation of appropriate measures.
• Administer prescribed treatments and effectively manage pain.
• Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and care teams.
• Ensure reliable and complete transmission of information to care units.

Your profile

• Nursing degree recognized in Switzerland or recognition issued by the Swiss Red Cross (SRC) obtained or in progress.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting, ideally in a recovery room, continuous care, intensive care, or operating room.
• Excellent knowledge of post-operative monitoring and emergency management.
• Ability to manage complex situations with calmness and professionalism.
• Sense of responsibility, rigor, and team spirit.
• Good command of the French language, both spoken and written.
