Specialist in Everyday Life Design and Activation

The Wohn- und Pflegezentrum Marienhaus in Basel offers older people a home in which they can shape their everyday lives actively and independently. To complement our Activation & Everyday Life Design team, we are looking for someone starting March 1, 2027

Specialist in Everyday Life Design and Activation (w/m/d), 30–60 %

Your tasks

• You plan and design individual and group offers inside and outside the house, e.g., gymnastics, memory training, and themed afternoons
• You tailor the offers to the abilities and interests of the residents, including for people with dementia
• You use modern aids such as Tovertafel and Dividat Senso
• You organize outings in the neighborhood as well as flexible activities
• You plan and accompany events and excursions
• You further develop the range of offers and work closely with the other departments

Your profile

• Completed training in activation or everyday life design (e.g., FAA, FAB, LeA or SRK)
• Experience in long-term care, ideally with people with dementia
• Independent way of working and sense of responsibility
• Good IT skills
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing, you understand Swiss German well
