The Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care performs approx. 6'000 anesthesias annually in a modern environment across a wide range of specialties. The interdisciplinary intensive care unit with 8 beds as well as the emergency medical services are also part of our area of responsibility. ###

With over 1'700 employees we ensure the extended basic medical and nursing care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually we care for approximately 11'000 inpatient and 90'000 outpatient patients.
