The VIVA project – an innovation in Switzerland

As part of the VIVA project, the Réseau de l’Arc is the first fully integrated health organization in Switzerland to offer its own insurance and care plan.

VIVA is based on a modern vision of local medicine: coordinated, continuous, and patient-centered care, promoting collaboration between all actors in the health system. Accessible to the inhabitants of Jura and the Arc jurassien, this model guarantees optimal quality of care and a fluid and coherent health pathway.

You ensure global and personalized patient care, including notably:

• General medicine consultations (diagnosis, treatment and follow-up)
• Complete health check-ups and clinical evaluations
• Longitudinal follow-up of patients in a global and preventive approach
• Management of acute and chronic pathologies
• Rigorous maintenance and updating of medical records
• Implementation of prevention (screening, vaccination, health advice)
• Collaboration with other health professionals in the VIVA network
• Coordination with specialists as part of multidisciplinary care
• Participation in the continuity and quality of care
• Continuous training in order to maintain a high level of medical expertise
• Diploma in general medicine or family medicine recognized in Switzerland or in the process of recognition (MEBEKO)
• Experience in outpatient medicine and primary care
• Interest in local medicine and integrated care models
• Ability to work in a team and in an interdisciplinary network
• Excellent interpersonal skills and listening skills
• Mastery of French indispensable: German or Swiss German is an asset

Solidly anchored in its region, the Réseau de l’Arc is a major player in local care in the Arc jurassien and neighboring regions. It ensures global, coordinated and interdisciplinary care for the population, at the heart of a rich and diverse territory.

The network includes two hospitals in Moutier and Saint-Imier and nine Medicentres. The care offering is completed by a vast regional ecosystem including emergency services, two medico-social establishments, two radiology institutes, a center for physical and cognitive therapies as well as a home hospitalization service (Hospital at Home).

With nearly 1 300 employees, the Réseau de l’Arc covers the outpatient and hospital needs of approximately 80 000 inhabitants, by valuing regional richness, human proximity and quality of care.
