Orthopaedic surgery treats diseases and accidents affecting the motor system, namely the bones, joints, muscles, tendons, and nerves.

We are recruiting a

Nurse in the UCO - CDM 4 months at 80% (ref: 2036)

Your mission:

You will be responsible for welcoming the patient and preparing them physically and psychologically for the surgical intervention.

In this capacity, you are in charge of ;

• Settling the patient and presenting them with administrative organization information
• Ensuring pre- and post-operative care and monitoring as well as technical care in orthopaedic surgery
• Preventing the occurrence of nosocomial infections by promoting a healthy environment around the patient, through compliance with hygiene and asepsis rules
• Performing care according to medical prescription and in compliance with unit and institutional procedures
• Ensuring the maintenance of the Electronic Patient Record (Carefolio)
• Attending necessary training in order to maintain and develop the skills expected for the position
• Knowing how to adapt to emergency situations; knowing how to alert and contact the right person and perform emergency procedures
• Actively participating in the organization of the unit

We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria:

• Nursing diploma
• In possession of the Croix rouge Recognition (for foreign diplomas)
• 2-3 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Meeting the requirements of all our patients (semi-private, private, and VIP)
• Languages: French, English (ideally)
• Experience in orthopaedic surgery
• Sense of contact and service within the framework of a private establishment
• Autonomy, benevolence, versatility (surgery pole), ability to adapt, organization, and sense of priorities are essential qualities
• Demonstrating flexibility in one's schedule
• Positive attitude within a team and being able to generate a climate of trust
• Good knowledge of IT tools (Opale, Carefolio)

We offer you:

Type of contract: Fixed-Term Contract for a maximum of 4 months
Percentage: 80%
Start date: As soon as possible.
