Your tasks

You bring your expertise and specialist knowledge across locations to our five houses in the Bern Zentrum cluster. We are convinced: management and quality belong together. Therefore, you are an active and valued part of the nursing management meetings. Together with the nursing management, you define specialist focuses and goals and contribute to the continuous further development of nursing quality.

You advise and support our employees in complex nursing issues and strengthen their professional security through Bedside Teaching, case discussions and practical training. With regular refreshers, you ensure that our nursing concepts are understood, applied and sustainably anchored in everyday life. In doing so, you provide orientation, convey knowledge and support the teams in developing and implementing professionally secure solutions independently.

In your cross-location function, you actively help shape the further development and standardization of medical-nursing processes, treatment processes and specialist standards. You combine your specialist knowledge with practical proximity and ensure that quality requirements become effective in everyday nursing. Together with the nursing management, the team leaders and interprofessional teams, you contribute to quality and practice development projects and actively help shape their implementation.

In doing so, you are not left on your own: Our specialist responsible persons and subject matter experts, for example in the areas of wound care, Palliative Care, dementia and RAI assessment, are your sparring partners. The specialist and collegial exchange as well as mutual consultation expand your perspectives, strengthen professional security and increase your collective impact.

You can expect a professionally demanding specialist expert role with great creative freedom and direct influence on the quality of our nursing and care. The central idea of your activity is: You do not take over – you empower. You strengthen the employees and teams in developing their professional competence, taking responsibility and sustainably anchoring knowledge in everyday nursing. In this way, you contribute to ensuring that professional competence does not remain with a single person, but grows in the entire cluster and exerts a long-term effect.

Your profile

• You are a Nursing Expert MScN (completed or in training) ideally with a specialization in Nurse Practitioner or an experienced Registered Nurse FH/BSC with specialized further training in the geriatric field
• At least Rai Supervisor
• At least 4 years of professional experience, ideally in long-term care or a geriatric setting
• Leadership experience and/or experience in adult education is an advantage but not a requirement.
• People look forward to your visits, because you bring energy, joy and an appreciative attitude.
• You are a winning personality and convince with the attitude that every employee can develop further.
