Your main tasks

• Preparing patients for anesthesia
• Checking the anesthesia equipment before anesthesia
• Performing general anesthesias in cooperation with the responsible anesthesiologist, assistance with all regional anesthesia techniques
• Documentation of all relevant anesthesia data using state-of-the-art PDMS
• Providing the material and medications necessary for anesthesia
• Coverage of the REA service during the shift
• Assistance with postoperative care in anesthesia-specific matters
• Maintenance, cleaning, and care of the apparatus and materials used in anesthesia
• You implement the training concept in the anesthesia department and accompany students during their practical training. This includes induction and learning support, managing and discussing learning documentation and progress sheets, as well as creating educational and probationary period reports.
• Additionally, you conduct entry, location, and qualification interviews and regularly participate in the BB forum as well as exchange with cooperating hospitals.

Your profile

• You have a diploma as an expert in anesthesia nursing or an equivalent qualification.
• You have completed further training as a vocational trainer and bring several years of professional experience.
• Your goal is to ensure professional anesthesia at the highest level and patient-oriented care.
• A rational, economical, and environmentally conscious use and handling of available resources, taking quality requirements into account, is a matter of course for you.
• You enjoy working independently and, through your audience-appropriate communication, you contribute to a pleasant working atmosphere between patients and doctors.
• Through your enthusiasm for the profession and vocational training, you succeed in planning, controlling, and accompanying learning processes.
