The Réseau fribourgeois de santé mentale (RFSM) is attached to the Direction de la santé et des affaires sociales (DSAS). The RFSM is a hub of medical, nursing and psychosocial expertise specialized in mental health. The RFSM is looking for, for its Secteur hospitalier de psychiatrie et psychothérapie de la personne âgée, an assistant physician. As part of this senior physician function and under the responsibility of the medical director of the sector, you will actively participate in the clinical management, the development of services and the functioning of the sector. The RFSM employs 800 people and remains a human-sized institution with a warm and benevolent working atmosphere. Fribourg is a canton of 350,000 inhabitants with a university hosting 11,000 students. RFSM Advantages: Affiliated with Swibeco - Health promotion - Chaperon Rouge - Nestlé Shop discounts - Internal language coursesLabel ISFM / Family score / Training companyYour missions * Ensure the medical and clinical responsibility of the entities entrusted to you and ensure the quality as well as the continuity of care * Participate in the management, organization and coordination of the medical activities of the sector, in close collaboration with the medical director and other executives * Guarantee the consistency of the therapeutic framework and contribute to the development, application and evolution of care concepts * Support and supervise chief residents and assistant physicians in their clinical activity * Actively participate in the postgraduate training of physicians and, according to needs, in the teaching activities of the RFSM * Promote interdisciplinary and interprofessional care, in collaboration with the nursing, psychological, social and therapeutic teams * Develop collaboration with partners of the sanitary, medico-social and ambulatory network in order to ensure coordinated care pathways for elderly patients * Participate in the development of new services, new therapeutic concepts and quality improvement projects for the sector * Contribute to the institutional activities of the RFSM and ensure, upon delegation, representations of the sector with internal and external partners * Participate in the medical reference system according to the organization in force within the RFSM Desired profile * Federal medical diploma or title recognized by MEBEKO * FMH specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy, or title deemed equivalent * FMH specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy of the elderly, or title deemed equivalent * Confirmed clinical experience in the field of geriatric psychiatry * Experience as a senior physician, chief resident or in a function involving supervision responsibilities * Marked interest in interdisciplinary work and the development of care adapted to the specific needs of the elderly * Leadership, organization, communication and collaboration skills * Interest in the training and supervision of physicians in training * Additional training in management or administration is an asset * Mastery of French; good knowledge of German is desired Contact details of contact persons Dr. Franco Masdea, [Write an email](< >), T jpid3695cedjm jpit1042jm jpiy26jm
