Co-Head of Specialization

In the Privatklinik Meiringen, people with all forms of psychological suffering receive admission, treatment, and care. The third largest psychiatric clinic in the Canton of Bern is open to patients from all over Switzerland and abroad and is responsible for the inpatient basic psychiatric care of the eastern Berner Oberland. Nursing and care are provided according to the current medical-psychiatric and nursing state of knowledge.

The teams specializing in acute admission (open and protected) care for people with illnesses from the entire spectrum of psychiatry who require extensive psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment. The protected specialization has a 24-hour emergency admission obligation. The service mandate is oriented towards the latest scientific findings within an individually defined treatment and nursing process. In this context, psychosocial reintegration is considered the primary treatment goal.

Your tasks

• You have the main responsibility for the organizational, personnel, and professional leadership of the specialization
• You ensure the service mandate of the specialization, taking into account operational specifications and objectives
• You promote interprofessional cooperation and develop the specialization in line with the company strategy
• You are primarily responsible for the implementation of patient-oriented professional nursing within the framework of the nursing process and key worker work, and you actively participate in patient care
• You actively help shape the treatment process in interprofessional cooperation
• You guarantee high-quality nursing in cooperation with the professional nursing responsibility
• You ensure the training mandate in cooperation with the vocational trainers

Your profile

• You have a completed degree at HF/FH level or an equivalent SRK recognition for foreign diplomas
• You bring psychiatry and leadership experience
• You have completed further training at CAS Leadership level or a comparable management training, or the willingness to complete this
• You possess strong skills in communication, organization, and personnel management
• You have a high service orientation and business understanding, and can think and act in a solution-oriented and process-oriented manner
• You are an independent, responsible, and resilient personality
• You practice your profession with a lot of professionalism and commitment
• You are characterized by an exact and goal-oriented way of working
• You attach great importance to collegial and social team behavior
